Insurance and excess

Rentals include comprehensive insurance with a 5% excess, capped at approximately €2,000. For an at-fault accident, the customer pays the actual repair cost when it is below the excess, or only the contractual excess when damage exceeds it. An accident report is required for insurance coverage; a police report is also required when anyone is injured.

Items not covered by insurance

Insurance does not cover tyres, rims, lost keys, vehicle documents or damage caused by improper use of the vehicle.

Security deposit

A security deposit is requested as a card pre-authorisation. It is not charged unless there is damage or a breach of the rental terms. The hold is released after the vehicle is returned, subject to normal banking times.

Payment terms

Rental payment is due when the vehicle is delivered. Payment may be made in cash in euros or Moroccan dirhams. Bank cards are accepted, with any applicable processing fees confirmed according to the payment method.

General rental terms

Rental is calculated by calendar day rather than in 24-hour periods. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental.

Vehicle use

Vehicles may be used on roads and suitable tracks under normal conditions, including light off-road travel. Dangerous, abusive or contractually prohibited driving is not allowed. A desert kit with a sand track, shovel and compressor may be available for selected itineraries at €60 per rental.

Required documents

A valid driving licence, passport or identity document, and a bank card for the security deposit are required to complete a rental.

Booking and deposit

A 20% booking deposit may be requested to hold a vehicle. Required documents can be sent in advance so delivery can be prepared efficiently.
