Data we collect
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, travel dates, itinerary, vehicle preferences and any information included in your message. Technical data such as IP address, browser information and consent choices may also be processed for security and analytics purposes.
Why we use your data
Your data is used to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, manage reservations, provide customer support, prevent abuse, maintain site security and measure website performance when you have consented to analytics cookies.
Legal basis
We process enquiry and booking data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform rental services. Security processing is based on our legitimate interests. Analytics and advertising technologies are used only with your consent where required.
Recipients and transfers
Access is limited to authorised MoroccoCars staff and the providers needed to deliver the service: Bluehost for website hosting, the contracted email provider for communications, Google for consented analytics and advertising, and Meta when you choose WhatsApp. Some providers may process data outside Morocco. MoroccoCars contractually reviews these transfers and the safeguards required by Moroccan law and, where applicable, the GDPR.
Retention
Quote and pre-booking enquiries are retained for a maximum of 90 days after the last useful exchange. Confirmed booking and accounting records are retained for the statutory period that applies to them. Anti-abuse identifiers are irreversibly hashed and expire after no more than 30 minutes. Consent records follow the duration displayed in the cookie preferences tool.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to info@moroccocars.net. We may ask for proof of identity before acting on a request.
